What is actually charged
A website is four items, not one. When you compare offers, check which of these are included:
- The build. Design, photos, text, setting it up. The biggest part, paid once.
- The domain. The address, like yoursalon.ba. About 55 KM for the first year and about 30 KM a year after that. How a .ba domain is registered.
- Hosting. The server the site lives on. From a few KM a month up; a simple site fits on nearly free hosting.
- Upkeep. Changing prices, photos and opening hours later. Some charge monthly, some per change, some nothing for the first few months.
Rough prices we have seen
- Classified ads: 70 to 350 KM. Often a template, no domain or hosting, and nobody to call for a change later.
- Small studios and freelancers: about 500 KM for a presentation site, usually with the domain and hosting on top.
- Agencies in the bigger cities: from about 880 to 1,000 KM and up, often with monthly upkeep.
- “Free” builders (Wix, Google Sites): 0 KM, but the address is theirs (yoursalon.wixsite.com), their ads sit on your page, and you pay monthly to remove them.
What an offer should say
- Whose domain it is. It must be registered in your name. If it is in the builder’s name, you don’t own your own address.
- What is included. How many pages, who writes the text, who edits the photos, whether hours and contact are there.
- What changes cost later. Changing a price should not be a project.
- What happens if you stop paying. The site goes dark, but the domain must stay yours.
What we charge
390 KM once for the first ten clients, then 490 KM. That covers the build, a .ba domain in your name, hosting for the first year and all changes free for the first three months. From the second year, 60 KM a year for the domain and hosting. You pay only once the site is online.

Questions people ask
Can I build it myself? You can, on Wix or similar, in a few hours. Expect someone else’s address, ads, and a monthly fee to remove them. For a salon or café that needs one tidy page, that ends up costing more than a one-off build.
Isn’t it cheaper to just have Instagram? Instagram is free and you should have it. A website isn’t a replacement but an addition: it is what Google shows when someone looks for you. More on that here.
Do I need a monthly subscription? Not necessarily. A simple site can be paid once, with a small yearly renewal for the domain and hosting.
